We offer a bit of paradise! Our location combines the rustic feel of a wooded setting with the nice convenience of being within short walking distance of several restaurants and many stores.
We’re a top-notch and modern campground but we love keeping the good ol’times alive. So step back in time with us and enjoy either old fashioned customer service, classic candy and tin toys in our store, a collection of fine vintage soda pops, or a waffle bowl of gelato in our retro styled ice cream parlor.
Relax at this peaceful campground, nestled between the pulsing cities of South Bend and Elkhart, 7 miles from University of Notre Dame and 9 miles form the “RV capital of the world”. There’re many attractions nearby like the Studebaker and Hudson Museum, Shipshewana and Amish country, Chocolate factory, Notre Dame and “the RV capital of the world”, RV manufacturers, RV surplus stores and the RV Hall of Fame, splash parks, casinos and an extraordinary zoo can be found around here.
We’re only a couple of hours away from Chicago, if the “big city bug” bites you. There’s a convenient trainline between South Bend Airport and downtown Chicago. Enjoy the beauty of Northern Indiana, with fishing places nearby, like the St. Joseph River and take a stroll along the river walk in Mishawaka or Elkhart. Visit the beaches on Lake Michigan, Indiana Dunes Nationalpark or East Race channel for rafting and canoeing.
Shaded, long and level full hookup RV sites are available, with cable TV access (54 channels) and free, fast WiFi. We feature two dog runs, so bring the pets! And don’t miss the petting zoo!
We offer spacious deluxe cabins and cozy, comfortable rustic cabins. Private showers, very clean restrooms and a nice laundry round up our much liked amenities. There are so many good reasons to stop here. Might be for a night, a weekend or for several nights or even months. You will be very happy you did!
